Data Deletion Policy
Effective Date: March 23, 2026
At DioGenerations, you have the right to request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. This document explains what data is deleted, how to request deletion, and the timeline for processing.
1. How to Request Data Deletion
Send an email to contact@diogenerations.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your account
- The brand name(s) associated with your account (if applicable)
- Whether you want full account deletion or partial data removal
You can also request data deletion by contacting your brand administrator, who can remove your account through the admin dashboard.
2. What Gets Deleted
Upon processing your deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account credentials — email, password hash, session data
- OAuth tokens — TikTok access tokens and refresh tokens are revoked and deleted
- Generated content — all AI-generated posts, slides, captions, and hashtags associated with your account
- Rendered images — all carousel images stored in Cloudflare R2
- Brand assets — uploaded logos, product images, and knowledge documents (if you are the sole administrator)
- Research data — cached market research, competitor analysis, and trend data
- Publishing history — records of content published through the Service, including platform publish IDs and video IDs
- Analytics data — TikTok account snapshots (follower counts, likes over time) and per-video engagement metrics (views, likes, comments, shares)
- Scheduling data — all scheduled and pending content queues
3. What May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained in limited circumstances:
- Shared brand data — if other users are associated with the same brand, brand-level configuration and assets will remain accessible to those users
- Legal obligations — we may retain minimal records if required by law (e.g., transaction records, legal disputes)
- Aggregated analytics — anonymized, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained
4. Processing Timeline
We will confirm receipt of your deletion request and verify your identity.
Your account will be deactivated and you will no longer be able to log in. OAuth tokens are immediately revoked.
All personal data, generated content, rendered images, and stored assets are permanently deleted from our systems and cloud storage.
You will receive an email confirming that your data has been fully deleted.
5. TikTok-Specific Deletion
If you connected your TikTok account to DioGenerations:
- Your TikTok OAuth tokens (access and refresh) will be revoked and deleted
- We will deauthorize our application from your TikTok account
- Content already published to TikTok will remain on TikTok — you can delete it directly through TikTok's interface
- Any TikTok profile data stored by DioGenerations (user ID, display name, profile ID) will be deleted
- All collected TikTok analytics data (account growth snapshots, video engagement metrics) will be permanently deleted
You can also revoke DioGenerations' access to your TikTok account at any time through TikTok Settings > Security > Manage app permissions.
6. Partial Deletion
If you prefer to keep your account but want specific data removed, you can request partial deletion of:
- Specific content batches or posts
- Connected social media account tokens
- Uploaded brand assets or knowledge documents
- Research data
- TikTok analytics and performance metrics
